The steel stairs are in and our native plants are here!

This week was all about fabricating the steel staircase—and it’s a beauty. The steps span a generous 10 feet in width, and the accompanying railing we fabricated and installed really completes the look. It’s exciting to see the southern retaining/seating walls and stairs taking shape.

Next, we’ll be installing the adjacent pole for the future shade structure, followed by backfilling in that area.

On the planting side, our native plants have arrived—and they’re as charming as they are important. We’ll be nurturing them until installation, when they’ll help create a vibrant garden that celebrates our local ecosystem and supports the species that rely on it.
