Backfilling and Shade Footings

We’ve begun backfilling behind the completed retaining walls in preparation for the next round of features! Coming up: the next layer of steel retaining wall along the south side for the stadium seating, the southwest staircase, and the much-anticipated Bee Hex-Stools on the southeast side.

We’ve also excavated the footing holes for the shade structure. The poles will be installed once the remaining retaining walls are in place.

It’s great to be back on site and moving forward—next week promises to be a busy one with lots of visible progress. We’re excited to see it all take shape!
