Fabrication and design time!

We’ve taken a brief pause on-site to focus our attention on designing the finer details of the garden. To guide these decisions, we gathered all the worksheets and feedback from the community to ensure the next phase feels intentional, inspired, and aligned with the original vision.

After reviewing everything, we’ve decided to shape the garden into three experiential zones, each celebrating a different theme and type of pollinator. These zones will inform the artistic details of the screen, stools, and planting design—creating a layered narrative throughout the space. One zone will highlight the industrious world of bees, another will evoke a vibrant pond environment, and the third will tell the story of a monarch’s journey. Together, they will create a magical, immersive experience for visitors of all ages.

While one of us is at the computer refining design details, the other is in the shop welding the stool bases and fabricating other key elements in preparation for installation. We’ll be back on-site soon to complete the remaining retaining walls and begin installing the experiential features.

Stay tuned!
